When I was younger, I used to grab whatever sparked my eye while walking through the mall. I subscribed vehemently to fast fashion and had overflowing closets. I would have to clean out my closet frequently due to overflow. When I cleaned, I would find clothing with tags on them pushed to the back that I forgot to wear. It was overwhelming, wasteful and expensive. I didn’t understand the concept of staple wardrobe pieces, investment pieces, or capsule wardrobes. Capsule wardrobes have become more popular in the last decade or two. They encompass minimalism, style and organization. I want to share my fashion journey from chaos to calm for others. If you’re looking for a good organic and non toxic self tanner, look no further. Everyone loves a good glow to their skin. If you live in a Northern area like me where the snow takes over half of the year, you’ll appreciate having an option even more so. I always feel a bit more confident when I have a bit of a tan to an otherwise pale complexion. That being said, I don’t have access to warmth in the sun all year. I love the sun and all the health benefits it has to offer. But even in the summer months, I like to moderate my time to ensure I’m not contributing to fine lines and wrinkles. I often turn to self tanner when I am craving that bit of glow. Most self tanners on the market are quite toxic and not something I’d want to be putting all over.
