Taking some time to really get to know the products before giving my full review is important to me. After sampling some foundation colors, I was able to trial a shade match that fit me best. Now that I have used these products for a few months, let’s get into it:

Araza Beauty makeup offers light to medium coverage with a natural, skin-like finish. It may not fit into the “long lasting” category or be for those who want a full coverage face. But, for those who want a beautiful, dewy, everyday makeup look, this may be a great fit.

• Wear time: moderate (not designed for 12-hour wear)

Because the formulas are preservative-free and oil-based, they may require touch-ups—but that’s a trade-off many people accept for truly non-toxic makeup.

 

Araza Beauty Coconut Cream Foundation Review

The Araza Coconut Cream Foundation comes in 24 shades. Their foundation blends easily and feels more like skincare than makeup. It evens out redness without masking your skin. The foundation is a light to medium coverage. I recommend building slowly in thin layers to avoid looking cakey. It does build but applying a thick layer at the start produced less desirable results. This can be said for most cream foundations.

I love the dewy satin finish I get after application. I ensure I prep my skin well before application. This includes moisturizing to give a good base. The cream foundation applies best with their foundation brush vs fingers. But, I have tried other foundation buffing brushes with good results too. Brush is best when it comes to this foundation.

You can stick with the dewy look. I have also applied a thin layer of setting powder over top if I felt I wanted to mattify the finish. Setting powder layered really well over this foundation.

 

My Skin type and Personal Experience

I have sensitive, combination, maturing skin. My skin also reddens easily and Araza’s foundation did not flare this at all. Since using their makeup, I have not experienced any breakouts or reactions. I also found that it didn’t settle too badly into fine lines. I found that applying thin layers until I achieved my desired coverage level was best to avoid this. Overall, it did not settle into fine lines any more than other foundations do. I personally prefer to apply this one with my fingers by pressing product into the areas I wish. A brush can be used to feather out the product afterwards. It appears a deep magenta in the tube, but it applies as a sheer berry tone. It can be applied in layers which allows it to take on different personalities.
